Home Spa Guide: How To Make Your Home Smell Like a Spa

There are a few ways on how to make your home smell like a spa. The easiest one is to use aromatherapy oils. These oils are placed in an oil warmer, a pot which holds the oil above a candle, which heats up the oils and spreads the fragrance across a room. Here is a list of different types of oils and their effects:

Relaxing: Chamomile, Rose, and Lavender

Energy Boost: Basil, Ginger, Peppermint, Jasmine, Lemon or Sandalwood

Even just having fresh flowers in the room will create a fresh ambiance.

Oil Warmers for Home Spas

Unlike spas, homes are busy places with cooking, working, dust gathering in places, etc. An air purify will help in cleaning the air, making way for the lovely oil fragrances. If you’ve ever been to the beach, the depths of a jungle or a forest or by a waterfall, then you will know the feeling of clean air. The reason why these places are like that is because they have high levels of ionized air molecules. Any dirt or pollution floating in the air attaches themselves to these ionized molecules and then falls to the ground. The same effect can be done at home with an air filter that has an inbuilt ionizer. All the dirt and pollution in the air will fall to the ground which you can easily vacuum up.

Another way of helping keep the air clean and circulating is to have a water feature. Spas are abundant with water features. They are relaxing to have around. Simple ones like bamboo water fountains can be used at home.
